The platform served all sections of MAT021 across the university, giving students problems to prepare for examinations and providing instructors with current data on cohort performance.

MAT021 — Mathematics I

A theoretical and practical foundational course integrating algebra, trigonometry, and analytic geometry to introduce the language of mathematics, together with the basic concepts and techniques of differential calculus for real-valued functions of one real variable.

Topics: elementary algebra and trigonometry; analytic geometry of the plane; functions, limits, and continuity; the derivative and its applications (optimization, related rates, curve sketching); Taylor approximation.
